The French Place

Big Butter Creek, Morrow County

Coming

The main lodge and cabins, and the future home of Hunt Oregon.

Four generations of the French family ranched this ground on Big Butter Creek, from the first land patents around 1900 until 2023. The county road ends at the ranch house. It is planned as the main lodge, with cabins, for upland and big-game hunters and for guests who come for the country.

Camas Creek Cabins

Nelson Meadows, on Camas Creek

Coming

Cabins in a mountain meadow, with hot springs next door.

Nelson Meadows lies along Camas Creek in the Blue Mountains. The creek is named for the camas lily, which turns wet meadows in this country blue in spring. The cabins are planned for guests who come to slow down: a soak at the neighbouring hot springs, quiet days in the meadow and dark skies at night.
