Late Season: Cow Elk and Birds

Cow elk hunts on the ranch's damage tags, which are sold over the counter and can be bought at any time. The season runs for several months and covers nearly the whole ranch, which makes these hunts affordable and high in success, and a good first elk for a new hunter.

Pair it with a day on the bird preserves for a winter trip with two kinds of hunting.

How it runs

• Rifle, from the lodge
• Guide with you on every hunt; field dressing and the game cooler included
• Add one or more preserve days
